This eBook was scheduled to be released in early 2007. However, I could not publish it with a clear conscience. You see, my wife shared with me that she had some debt. And it wasn’t our personal family debt. It was related to her scrapbooking business. I didn’t realize she had such a burden of over $12,000 on her credit card.
So, I postponed the official release date and started working with my wife on getting rid of this debt. We applied what I’m about to share with you in the following pages of this eBook. In less than a year, we paid off the entire debt on that credit card. Note to husbands: Many of us would react to our wives when confronted with news like this. Believe me; I could have easily done so. But the results would not have been as positive. Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do.
The results of my decision to assist my wife in getting out of debt have been life-changing. This financial crisis that was lifted from her brought peace instead of stress in our family. Our relationship has become better. She knew I was on her side. She gained more trust in me because I assisted her and did not accuse her. We had a common goal that we both believed in. And we met it. We were successful.
This eBook is dedicated to all of those families going through difficult times due to finances. If it helps one family it will be worth the time I’ve invested in it.
